Contacts / Phonebook (Referral Feature):

With your explicit consent, our App requests access to your device's contact list (READ_CONTACTS). We access this data solely to allow you to easily select contacts from your phonebook to invite and refer them to join the PointJodo App.

Data Handling & Privacy:

We only process the specific contact details (such as names and phone numbers/emails) that you explicitly choose to invite. We do not upload your entire contact book to our servers, we do not store your contact list permanently, and we never share or sell your contacts' information to third parties.

2. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

  • Create and manage your user account.
  • Process and track reward points earned through product barcodes.
  • Facilitate your referral requests to invite colleagues or peers.

  • Email or text you regarding your account, rewards, or updates to the App.
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
